NEW RIDE, BETTER SOUND – There just wasn’t enough bass in a 2026 Civic, so the owner came to us to improve his sound. After listening to the factory system with him and letting him listen to some proper mids and highs, the system quickly grew to include a five-channel amp with front components and sound treatments. Then the owner happened to mention he really hated the Honda touchscreen’s user interface and that he wished he had more money to upgrade that too. Progressive leasing was the answer. TECH IN A T-BIRD – The new owner of a mint condition 2002 Ford Thunderbird was feeling that the original owner had fallen behind the times. The vehicle had less than 30,000 miles on it, but the sound was sub-par and the technology was outdated. Since it was purchased for his wife, he wanted it up-to-date. We installed a Sony XAVAX6000 for the wireless CarPlay and back-up camera, SiriusXM for road trips and Kicker speakers for good quality sound. The customer loved that the updates brought this vehicle into the current age with the technology they were looking for. His wife now gets to enjoy a premium car with sound and features to match. IMPRESSING THE INFLUENCER – A local influencer stopped in wanting to add better sound to her 2023 Mercedes CLA250. She wanted clean vocals and bigger bass without taking up much space. An experienced representative gave her a few different options and price ranges and she settled on JL Audio C2 speakers in the front and rear, an AudioControl A1100.5 5-channel amp, and two AudioControl Space-series 10-inch subs. To preserve her space, our skilled tech fiberglassed the subwoofers into each corner in the trunk. We also used an LC7ipro signal processor and did a good amount of sound damping to get really great reproduction. She loved the way it sounded and was even happier that she was able to keep her trunk space and still have great bass. ALL IN THE FAMILY – A whole family came to us with a new Jeep wanting to make stand out in the crowd. The family’s only request was, “We want the windows to shake!” To give it a one-of-a-kind look, we showed them the variety of RGB lights that could be added, along with a light bar and spotlights. The family was excited and now moved on to the audio system. For the radio, the obvious answer was Stinger for its custom fit and capability to control the lights straight from the radio. Then it was time to make it sound as good as it looks. We installed full Audio Control starting with EPIC speakers front and rear, EPICFOUR and EPIC1000 amplifiers, Epicenter Pro and two 12-inch EPICX subwoofers. With the RGB lights, we added headlights, turn signals, rear brake light with integrated turn signals and the 52-inch light bar as the cherry on the cake. FRIENDLY ADVICE – One of the ways we know we’re doing it right is when our previous customers send their friends to us. That’s what happened when the owner of a 1967 Chevelle came in. This classic had a nice setup, but it needed a few things replaced to make it sound good again. Our inspection determined the radio and the 4-channel amp needed to be replaced. The owner brought his own Retro Sound radio and we supplied an Audio Control 4-channel amp. To make his bass sound better we added an Epicenter.
