A reminder: when you are mowing your yards, please do not blow the grass into the street.

Freshly cut grass is hazardous to motorcycle riders. Why?
Freshly cut grass clippings can cause motorcyclists to lose traction.

The bike tire may spin abnormally, causing the motorcycle to fishtail and fall over.

So please, don't blow your grass clippings to the street. Doing so is also against state law.

SPRING LAWNMOWER CHECKLIST

Before mowing season kicks into full gear, here are 5 things every mower should have checked:

✅ 1. Change the OilOld oil makes engines run hot and wear out faster.

✅ 2. Sharpen the BladeA dull blade tears grass instead of cutting it, which can turn your lawn brown.

✅ 3. Check the Air FilterA dirty filter chokes the engine and reduces power.

✅ 4. Inspect the Spark PlugA worn plug is one of the most common reasons mowers won’t start.

✅ 5. Clean the CarburetorOld gas left over from last season can gum things up and cause rough running.

If your mower won’t start, runs rough, or just needs a tune-up, now is the best time to service it before the spring rush hits.
