We had the pleasure of meeting two of the boat captains! Captain Ron "Elvis" was day 1 and he was awesome. Checked in the day before to make sure we had all the info we needed. The day of the charter he texted me first thing in the morning with the weather report saying he was keeping an eye on it and he would keep me posted if anything changed.

We start our boat trip after Ron took one last glance at the radar. About 20 minutes later it changed in a crazy fast way and Ron kept our safety as the highest priority and decided to turn around. He got us back to the dock safely and in no way we were ever nervous because of Ron's expertise.

We rescheduled to the next day and had Larry as our captain this time. He was as equally as amazing as Ron. So fun, gave us a bunch of options as to what we could choose from and gave us some great recommendations too. Would HIGHLY recommend this group as they were super easy to rent from, communicate with and overall we had a ton of fun!

Excellent service from start to finish. The boat was much nicer and more powerful than any rental we saw. Taking the boat from the 30a area to crab island rather than driving to Destin and renting there is the play. It’s faster and a great way to see the bay and do some tubing. So glad to have found these folks and that they were able to accommodate us with very little notice (like an hour). Well done all around and highly recommended.

LABOR DAY BOATING: Destin has been named the most popular boating destination in the country for the 2026 Labor Day weekend, capturing nearly 30% of all early holiday reservations nationwide, according to booking data released by BoatBooker.

The company’s 2026 Holiday Forecast analyzed completed trips from the 2025 Labor Day weekend (Sept. 5-7) and compared them with early confirmed bookings for the 2026 holiday weekend (Sept. 4-6).

Fort Walton Beach also made the list, coming in at number 6. BoatBooker said the area is trending strongly for family-friendly day charters.

“Destin has always had a legendary reputation among boaters, but our early 2026 data shows it is completely outstripping the rest of the country,” said Vukan Simic, CEO of BoatBooker. “With Florida capturing nearly 60% of all holiday bookings early on, Destin’s position at the top shows that the Emerald Coast remains the undisputed capital of American recreational boating.”
