Not every project needs to be a Syncro conversion or a crazy paint job.. A new stereo can make you fall in love with your van again too πŸ˜‡

Phase two of Lachlan Maclean’s family camper is in the books. Along with a handful of mechanical fixes and upgrades, we installed a clean and discreet JL Audio sound system with a Porsche single-DIN CarPlay head unit.

The system features six channels with front tweeters, a hidden subwoofer tucked into the rear cabinet, and JL Audio’s FiX DSP processor to optimize the sound across all genres of music.

The goal was to create modern sound without sacrificing classic feel.

Thanks for the trust, Lachlan. Enjoy the tunes πŸ’‹

DOVE BLUE MONDAY πŸ•ŠοΈ

It is an Interesting color. Dove Blue Metallic. After 39 years in the sun it drifts, less blue, more yellow. A re-paint can be treated like color change.

Repainting a van is a journey. Things come apart, it’s exciting. But often more damage is found, the project gets 𝓇𝑒𝒢𝓁. Things take time.

Towards the end, when you think you’re nearly done, thats a test. Small details add up. Costs can rise. Patience wears thin. This is pretty much every paint and body focused project.

Thankfully Joe let us do the right thing with his van 🀝 already a beast, we cleaned her up for the next stage in her journey.

This year was one for the books. I am stoked to see and win best syncro, take home best customizer, furthest driven, and even I brought home an award for innovation πŸ€“
