🏁 Speed isn’t always hiding in the setup. Sometimes it’s in the details we overlook. Tires can tell you a lot about what your race car is trying to do. Before chasing springs, shocks, or adjustments, make sure you’re reading what the tires are saying.

Tires take the blame more than anything else—but sometimes they really are the problem. If you’re fast on old tires but slow on new ones, your setup is likely too tight. If the car feels “skatey” or lacks grip, you could simply have a bad tire.
💡 Before you start chasing adjustments, try another set. Sometimes speed is just a tire swap away.
