The Dream Within the Dream

In a land where hope still grows,
Where every heart its future knows,
Two souls arose through storm and flame,
Each called by duty, none the same.
โ
One chose the road of steadfast might,
To guard the weak, defend the right.
Through restless nights and streets unknown,
He stood so others walked in peace alone.
โ
One walked through trials, through loss and pain,
Yet searched for sunlight after rain.
Not by the past is one defined,
For grace can heal the human mind.
โ
The dream is not of fear or walls,
Nor angerโs voice that shouts and calls.
It lives where mercy joins with law,
And justice stands in humble awe.
โ
The dream is not a distant star,
It shines wherever kind hearts are.
When hands once parted meet again,
The broken world begins to mend.
โ
So let us rise, both bold and true,
With brighter skies in clearer view.
For when we choose the good we can,
The dream lives on in every man.
