Where did my love for Ohlins and Marchesini come from?

Nearly 30 years ago, spent a season turning wrenches for a 250GP AMA team, running an ex-Rich Oliver Yamaha TZ250. Every piece of that bike was beautifully made, machined or welded.

Loved the energy of the paddock, the rush to get the bike on the grid, and the traveling. Love to do it again someday!

Somewhat surprised by the number of views and traffic the last post generated. For anyone new to the page, my name is Mark Brush, Navy veteran and owner/operator of MB Cycles here in Colorado Springs, Colorado. With over 40 years of experience repairing, restoring, riding, and racing motorcycles, I'm ready to help with your next project!

I'm also somewhat well-known for my Yamaha R1, R7, and R71 builds, including the Harris Yamaha R71 Project back in 2012. I truly enjoy building high-end, highly detailed race machines.

I've been collecting parts to re-create my 2001 R1 - R7 replica that I parted back in 2008. Found my original front fender.

Bodywork is currently on a bike in Austraila, won't be getting that back.

Will be fairly close to the original with a few updates.
