One year ago I boarded a nonstop flight from Miami to dive the second largest barrier reef.

What surprised me the most was how hospitable the locals were. They made me feel safe and at home which is huge for this southern gal.

US Currency is 2-1, most everyone travels by golf cart, the food is simple and delicious, and English is their native language.

Not shocking to know Leonardo DiCaprio has a private island off the coast. Just one of hundreds of near by islands.

If it takes a sea plane to get there, count me in every time.

Today IYBA hosted their monthly open house where I had the opportunity to tour M/Y ROCK.IT, a stunning 60m Feadship. This yacht shows incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail.

These industry events are one of the reasons I’m confident in the recommendations I make. When I match a client with a yacht, it’s not because it looks beautiful online— a lot of yachts look beautiful online.. Here’s a price breakdown for a term charter in one of the worlds top charter destinations -

50’ catamaran: $3,750pp x 6 people = $22,500

Includes: Captain, fuel, chef, personalized menu for all guests, beverages, itinerary planned, water toys, dockage, port fees.

What it does not include: flights, hotel reservations pre or post charter, land excursions, 18-20% crew gratuity.

Booking calendars are open for end of year and all of 2027! Plan in advance to lock in prime weekends like Christmas, New Years, July 4th, and Memorial Day.

Beautiful sunset straight through the Exumas - a chain of 365 islands and stretches over 130 miles through the Bahamas. The water is crystal clear during the day.. we were about an hour too late to witness it but don’t worry I’ll be back 🏝️

This was during a delivery from St. Thomas to Fort Lauderdale on a 110’ Hatteras listed for sale. Currently undergoing an extensive refit. Second slide shows main salon, 3rd slide is flybridge. This boat ripped for 3 days with 1 fuel stop.

One of the most common questions I get when booking a charter: “What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?”

Before every charter, weather conditions are monitored closely, and the captain makes the final call based on safety.
Cloud cover does not mean your charter is canceled

If conditions are safe, your charter continues as planned. If weather makes it unsafe to operate, your charter may be rescheduled for another available date. For guests who are traveling and cannot reschedule, refund policies are discussed.

If a passing shower appears while you’re onboard? Your captain will navigate toward clearer skies.

When booking a charter it’s important to remember that safety comes first, and your captain’s decision is always made with your group, the crew, and the vessel in mind.
