For Sale $25k 1964 Fairlane sport coupe k code hipo 289 project; This is a California car. Originally red with red interior. I have owned this car for a few years and it is listed in the Hipo fairlane registry (Bob Mannel). When I bought it, it had been tubbed and used as a drag car. I own a restoration shop. The trunk and wheel wells have been restored back to their original configuration. I used a donor fairlane to get these parts. The narrowed ford 9 inch has been relaced with an original Hipo fairlane rear axle which came with the car. It has its original 4 speed transmission and it comes with a 1964.5 hipo engine (5 bolt) which was on an engine stand and came with the car. I do not know if it is original to the car. I have not tried to run this engine. We repaired one small rust area in the passenger side front floor. Otherwise I believe the car is rust free. I don't know if I have every single piece for this car but it certainly is close. I have the original console and seats (already upholstered). I believe I have all the trim. I have the steering wheel and hipo motor mounts. This car can be seen at my shop in El Cajon, Ca. (Beach City Broncos) If you are serious I would encourage you to come and look at it. There is nothing to hide. I have a clear clean California pink slip. It is currently on non op. $25,000. I have too many projects including two 66 gt350's and ten broncos to restore.
