Today was a good day! Preston saw his car for the first time on The Tilter, which really gives an unobstructed view and I got to do the first bit of welding - it wants to be fixed up!

Fixing the metal behind the lower door hinge so I can hang the door and work on gaps.

The inner longitudinal / floor perimeter after wire-wheeling revealed previous brazing repairs. We’ll get back to factory strong. 💪

Finished up the last of the welding on Lucas’ 51 Bug inner rear quarter panel; passing the baton to him and his Dad to finish up the last bits, now that the driver’s side heater channel is 90% welded in. A fun project!
