Javelina Jundred is the original costumed 100 mile trail run party. They’re celebrating their 18th edition on Jalloween, October 31, 2020! The race is held on a ~20 mile rolling single track trail course comprised mostly of the Pemberton Trail in beautiful McDowell Mountain Regional Park near Fountain Hills, Arizona. is going to crush the ultimate social 100 mile trail run!

For example, “the thickness of the mattress is just right. If it were too fat of a mattress I think I would feel claustrophobic sleeping in my car. It was time to escape to the mountains, to run with trees, sleep under the stars, wake up— make delicious campground coffee— and do it all again. We love trail running. There is nothing like beating your legs up on the trail while treating the rest of your senses to the beauty and smells of the forest. And when you’re done with that run the feeling of getting horizontal and letting the wave of your accomplishments vibrate through fatigued muscles is quite the reward. Thankful for our comfy Luno Life mattress for these moments. Even if we’re not spending the night in the wilderness, it is such a great way to wind down before driving home.

Two years ago we had a massive yard sale and peace’d out of our pad in Vermont to road trip/move across the country in our Subaru. We landed in an awesome love nest of a cottage in Ventura. It was furnished with cool old furniture, thus allowing us to avoid the adulting process of buying new stuff. Fast forward ⏩ we moved to a sweet spot in Redondo Beach and the time has come! We embarked to possibly the only open IKEA in the state of California in San Diego today and filled the Subie with modular goodies. The point of this post really is to show just how much of a beast this car is. Packed to the brim and straight crushing the two hour drive home. So much Subie love. 💙💛💙💛💙💛
