02 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7 engine had coolant mixed with the oil so definite cause is the customer blew the head gaskets cause they didn't put the radiator cap on right causing the engine to overheat quickly since they were pulling a trailer ... Towed the vehicle to the property and tore the engine apart down to the block... Took the heads to get machined and resurfaced and dye checked for cracks ... Set the heads and torqued it all down to specs then set the timing .. Resealed the whole front and top of engine with all new gaskets with the gasket kits .. Replaced the radiator and thermostat with a lower temperature thermostat to open up earlier and keep the engine temp lower than 210° .. Engine is running excellent and no longer overheating with coolant mixing with the oil !!!

Customers fence was falling over so we had to demo old fence that was poorly installed by the builders with cheap materials cutting corners... We bought all wood materials pressure treated so it would last a long time .. We set new 4x4x8 post 2 feet in the ground so they would be stable enough to withstand the time and big dogs ... We secured each picket down with screws not nails for extra stability to not be pushed out or broken off by the big dogs ... We also added some 6x2 boards on the bottom to strengthen and secure and add more protection from the dogs trying to get out ...

Over here at Rexy's Repairs and More we do it all big or small don't hesitate to reach out or give us a call .. We are definitely not the cheapest and won't get into these bidding wars online to get a job but we're reliable and honest and take pride in our work !!!.. We have so many loyal customers who only call us for any issues and we thank you 🙏... We love when we don't hear from them for awhile because we know the vehicles we fix are running strong if the maintenance is up to date ... Maintenance is key for a vehicle to last way over 200k and always check for leaks and make sure fluids are topped off !!!..

Customer wanted to save a carport and use the recycled materials for shade and cover for horses and machines .. Previous guy who set it up used way to small screws to brace the tin down and not enough cross braces in between poles so with the south Texas wind and weather it picked off the tin 1 by one till almost nothing was left for shade... We added more bracing and thin sheets of plywood on top then braced the tin down with actual sheet metal screws with rubber washers specifically made for tin so there's no water leaks ... After install we went back to caulk all previous holes on the tin to waterproof the roof so it wouldn't rot the plywood ...

Customer tried numerous fixes on the Chevy Malibu to see if they could save the transmission but was not successful ... Transmission would not shift properly and would shutter .. Customer called us and needed it fixed so we recommended a transmission swap instead of gambling on a valve body since car had over 200k miles ... Customer agreed so on big jobs (swaps) we tow the vehicle to the property ... On these vehicles unfortunately like most FWD vehicles we had to drop the lower subframe from the vehicle and then drop the transmission... While we were there we recommended to do the rear main seal so no leaks would be present in the near future ( preventative maintenance) since the transmission was already off and customer agreed to do so !!!.. Found a low mileage transmission with 80k and swapped it out with fresh fluids and had the customers wife driving back on the road with no issues still till this day !!!..

97 Cadillac Deville with the Infamous Northstar engine was overheating ... So upon arrival notified customer that to replace the thermostat and thermostat housing gasket along with the water pump belt (dry rot cracks) while we were there ... Bled the coolant system and no more overheating issue's !!!..

2015 Chrysler 200 .. Customer called and needed us to work on his vehicle after a previous "mechanic" was already paid for a head gasket job and didn't finish it .. Everything was a mess and bolts all over the place but we were determined to help him get his vehicle on the road and finish the job ... After tearing everything down we found the engine to be no good... First 3 pics are what it was like when we arrived .. Last photo was what we found after removing the head ... So upon removal we saw one of the sleeves to have a broken wall which deemed the engine no good ... Sad the customer already had ordered a machined head from ebay and paid the first "mechanic" ... To much time had past till we were contacted and by that time his return window was gone so he couldn't send the head back ... So customer was out a bunch of $ in parts and labor and an engine that was unrepairable ... 1 of many horror stories of unreliable mechanics who don't finish the job ...
