Our ambassadors have been hard at work getting our “Cardboard Kids” ready for display next week! 🩵
This campaign with ChildSafe starts an important conversation around child abuse in our community.

Each figure represents a child who has experienced abuse or neglect right here at home.

We spent our day with Easterseals, volunteering at their Bear Hunt! 🐻
We even had our smallest ambassadors help out!

We were proud to donate the teddy bears that each child went home with! 🐻❤️

We’re grateful to continue the Stuart Cavender Memorial Scholarship, supporting Boerne students as they take the next step towards their dreams!

🎓 Hey Seniors, final call for scholarships!!! 🎓

The Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce is excited to award five $2,000 scholarships to the Class of 2026 Seniors and our application deadline is TOMORROW: Friday, March 20th by 5pm! ⏳

The following scholarships are available:
• Boerne Chamber Business & Entrepreneur Scholarship – For future business leaders with a passion for entrepreneurship.
• Laurie Bushong Lang Memorial Scholarship – For a student who exemplifies community service.
• Stuart Cavender Memorial Scholarship sponsored by Cavender Chevy – For a senior who shows leadership, hard work, and a dedication to making a positive impact.
• Boerne Air Conditioning & Heating Trade Scholarship – For students pursuing a vocational or trade career.
• Marek, Finch & Taylor Memorial Scholarship – For seniors pursuing a medical or health-related field who are dedicated to compassionate patient care.

📢 Who can apply? Graduating seniors living and attending school in Kendall County.

We’re collecting NEW clothes and shoes for teens ages 12-21 this week, to support San Antonio Threads!

Together, we can fill more than closets… we can fill confidence! ❤️

This morning, our Cavender Cares Ambassadors sorted thousands of clothes at San Antonio Threads
which will go to at-risk teens in our community.
Throughout this week, we are collecting new clothing and shoes at each of our Cavender Auto Group dealerships, make sure to stop by and support the kids in our community! ❤️

Last night we celebrated our incredible Cavender Cares Ambassadors at the San Antonio Zoo with some very special guests…. THE HIPPOS!
In 2025 this group volunteered over 1,200 hours in our community!

Our ambassadors are the heart behind every event, every partnership, and every story of impact.

We are so excited for all that’s ahead this year as we celebrate five years of Cavender Cares! ❤️
