We are pleased to finally announce that Import Spring Showoff returns for 2018 on Saturday June 2nd at our new Venue Utah Motorsports Campus (UMC)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Many of you know the struggles the event faced after losing our previous venue. We were on the brink of not even doing a 2018 event. During this search for a new venue we decided it was time to revamp the event. It was a time for new beginnings. And so, we introduce a New Weekend, New Venue, New Logo, and New Activities. Sometimes something negative can turn in to something positive.
The ISS you have come to know and love is still here. We will continue to be the Enthusiasts event. ISS welcomes all vehicles and build types. From full prepped Race Cars to the finest Stance Cars in the state. From Daily Drivers to Drift Cars. From Show Cars to Street Cars and everything else in between. You can truly see it all at ISS. We continue to build upon the foundation that we all have a common interest in Cars. We just have different preferences in our builds. ISS is the place to share your build with others.
The move to UMC is big. For the first time for us (and a very long time in general) those that come to ISS will also have the opportunity to watch and participate in some Motorsport Activities. Watch Vehicles ranging from Ferrari’s to 350Z’s on the East Course during the Open Track Day. Watch the Off-Road Trucks race in the Lucas Oil Regional Series on the Dirt Track. Watch the Sport Bikes that are part of SuperMoto on the West and Kart Tracks. Race some of your friends on 1 of 4 Motion Simulators and for a select period of time get behind the wheel of one of UMC’s Karts.
Best of all, all of these activities (with the exception of the Karts and Simulators) will be included at NO EXTRA CHARGE. That’s right we committed earlier this year that ISS will not be raising any prices for 2018. Paid Parking will become Paddock Parking and costs $20. Vehicles in Paddock Parking will get parking within the grounds at the heart of UMC. Vehicles in Paddock Parking will be eligible to win awards, be exposed to the most media coverage, receive a Free roll in photo, and be a short walk from the tracks and activities. 10% of all registrations will also be donated to Primary Children’s Hospital. For the first time every we will also introduce a Loyalty launch. For the first 150 registrations we will give a 10% discount meaning Paddock Parking will only cost $18 a vehicle.
We will be releasing our first 300 spots in 1 week on Sunday April 15th at 6pm at Tickets.thefoat.com/issutah. Our spots sell out literally in minutes. We expect them to sell even quicker with our limited loyalty discount so be prepared or you might miss out.
Oh, and as always Spectators will continue to be FREE. And yes, that includes admission to watch the races.
