🐭🔧 You never know what you’re going to find on a diagnostic!

The owner of this 2012 Kia Forte called us after spending several days trying to figure out why the car wouldn’t start.

The dash lights, radio, heat/AC, windshield wipers, and other functions were completely dead — even though the vehicle was still receiving power.

After digging into it, we found the real culprit: a massive mouse nest inside the fender, right where the wiring harnesses run toward the dash. 🐀

The mice had chewed through and damaged multiple sections of the wiring, taking out several of the car’s systems at once. We traced the damaged circuits, repaired the wiring, properly rerouted and secured the harnesses, and got everything back where it belonged.

✅ No-start problem fixed
✅ Dash restored
✅ Radio working
✅ Heat/AC working
✅ Wipers working
✅ All normal functions restored

Another reminder that sometimes the problem isn’t a bad computer or a dead battery — you have to actually find the root cause. 🔍🔧

Little bit of a double post since we’ve been staying busy with projects lately! 🔧💪

We recently got called out to this Ford F-550 service truck after the owner started hearing a concerning knocking noise.

After inspecting it, we found the PTO was failing. After talking it over with the owner, we decided that since the PTO was no longer going to be used, the best option was to remove it and install the proper PTO delete hardware.

We got everything completed and now the truck is running nice and crisp! We were also called out to this Freightliner to replace 6 tires — the steer axle and front drive axle — getting it ready to get back on the road. 🚛💨

Today we got this 1993 Peterbilt 379 dump truck serviced and ready for more loads! 🔧🚛

Powered by the legendary 3406 CAT, this old Pete has an incredible 1.8 MILLION+ MILES on it and is still in seriously impressive condition for being over 30 years old.

We knocked out a full oil change, all brakes and drums, adjusted the brakes, topped off the hydraulic fluid, replaced a rotted-out airbag, greased all the fittings, and installed new hood latches.

It’s honestly crazy to see a truck this old with 1.8 million miles still in this kind of shape. That’s a testament to these old trucks and the maintenance that keeps them going. Another one serviced and ready to put in some more miles! 💪🛠️

🚨 ANOTHER JOB SAVED — AND THOUSANDS SAVED TOO! 🚨

Today we got called out to Walmart’s Automotive Center for a vehicle that had a broken-off oil drain plug stuck in the oil pan.

Instead of replacing the entire oil pan and running up a massive repair bill, we showed up, got the broken drain plug removed successfully, repaired the issue, and got the vehicle back up and running. 🔧💪

💰 Firestone quoted around $8,000 for the repair.

We were able to get the job handled without replacing the entire setup, saving Walmart thousands of dollars and, most importantly, getting the driver back in their vehicle instead of leaving them stranded.

This is exactly why having the right tools, experience, and someone willing to find a solution instead of just throwing parts at it matters.

🚨 Another truck back on the road! 🚨

We were called out to this 1991 Peterbilt with a Detroit Diesel 60 Series after it started running rough and wouldn’t build air. Upon further diagnoses, we found the air compressor had failed internally, with the compressor drive components completely breaking apart inside. 💥🔧

We replaced everything that was damaged inside, installed a new air compressor and fuel pump, and went through everything to make sure this old Pete was ready to get back to work.

After getting everything back together and running properly, she’s back to building air and ready to get back out there and dump some more loads! 💪🚛

🚌 Another bus back in service! 🔧

We got called out to this bus after it developed an oil leak from the oil pan gasket. We removed the old gasket, thoroughly cleaned and prepared the mating surfaces, and installed a new oil pan gasket to get the leak taken care of properly.

While we had it in the shop, we also replaced the fuel filter and oil filter, filled it back up with fresh oil, and cleaned everything up so we could make sure the bus was good to go.

Everything is checked over and ready to get back on the road and do whatever it is a bus does all day! 😂🚌

Another truck back on the road! 🚛🔧

We were called out to repair an exhaust manifold issue after two rusted manifold bolts had broken off inside the engine.

We carefully extracted the broken bolts, cleaned and needle-scaled the mounting surfaces to remove corrosion and rust buildup, and installed new exhaust manifold gaskets to ensure a proper seal.

After completing the repair and inspecting the engine, it is running properly and the truck is ready to get back to work and haul some more loads.
