Campers are arriving, the tabernacle is ready, the grounds are ready, and we are ready for St. Louis Camp Meeting of the Church of God 2020!

Did you know that we are installing an FM radio transmitter that will allow you to listen to the service from the comfort of your vehicle or camper? If you have an FM radio handy, you can tune in to our frequency and listen and worship right along with us, without being around other people! The frequency will be announced later this week, so stay tuned to the page for that update.

Also, if you are tech savvy, have an iPhone or Android with a QR scanner, and want to get a hands-free nightly newsletter, we will have QR codes posted around the campground for each night's newsletter! All newsletters will be posted on the campground's website in Word and PDF versions, and upon scanning the QR code, you will be taken directly to the PDF to view on your phone! Super simple!!

The newsletters will still be printed out on a nightly basis for those of you who would rather pick one up that way, and each previous night's newsletter will be available in the business office if you missed one.

We are so excited for this year's camp meeting! Will you join us in praying for those who attend and listen in to have a wonderful, spirit-filled experience? We pray that God will show up and show off at the 2020 St. Louis Camp Meeting of the Church of God!!!!

SEE YOU HERE!!

(Updated 8/1/2020)
Hello Camp Meeting Boys and Girls!

Camp meeting is around the corner...one week away!! Are you ready to receive what the Lord has prepared for us through Bro. Schaffer?

Just a couple of notes prior to your arrival:

- Everyone MUST check in upon entering the campground.

- If you prefer to wear a mask, please bring your own. The Board of Directors HIGHLY RECOMMENDS wearing masks at camp meeting, but it is not required. Children and Youth registered in their respective camps will have their temperatures checked on a daily basis.

- If you are bringing dogs, please be sure that you have a leash no longer than 6 feet to keep them on at all times outside your camper. You must pick up after your pet(s). We have doggie pick-up bags in the registration office if you need them.

- Please do not plug your camper electricity in prior to Wednesday, August 5. Those who are plugged in early will be charged the standard camping rate of $30 per night.

The Camp Meeting Association Board of Directors has a meeting this Saturday, August 1, at which time we will be discussing the new Executive Order (EO) set forth by Governor Whitmer, effective July 31, 2020. We will discuss the situation IN DEPTH with the upcoming camp meeting and the state's renewed requirements for mask wearing and social distancing. Please pray for the board of directors as we seek the Lord's will on this and strive to keep all of you safe and healthy at our yearly gathering.

As always, To God be the Glory!

May 16, 2020
In response to the current COVID-19 situation in Michigan and the Governor's stay at home orders, the St. Louis Campground is open only to seasonal residents and essential workers, as defined in Michigan's executive order 2020-70.

The Board of Directors has agreed that we should take extra measures to ensure the safety and health of all residents at the camp, including closing the public restrooms and meeting facilities until it is deemed safe to open them. Any camper wishing to stay here must have their own restroom/shower in their RV and be self-sustainable.

The current Stay Home, Stay Safe order is scheduled to be lifted on May 28th, at which time we will await orders from the Michigan Governor on whether recreational camping may resume.

Please call our office at (989) 681-2581 to schedule your arrival on the campground, or with any other questions. We will keep you as up to date as possible as Michigan's response to COVID-19 unfolds.

We ask that you keep our campground and it's board of directors, as well as our state and it's officials in your prayers. At this time, we are stepping out in faith and moving forward with planning the 2020 St. Louis Church of God Camp Meeting, August 6-14. If information changes, we will do our best to keep you all up to date. You can also go to our website for details at www.stlouiscampground.org.

Praying that you are all safe and healthy. :)

Please come and join the discussion and decision-making process.

God says many times in the Bible, "do not fear". But we must have fear to create courage. Instead of praying for God to remove the fear, we should pray for God to give us the confidence to face the fear. John 16:33 (NIV) says "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Fun and games in the bookstore this morning!

08/06/2018

Bob Moss told a story about feathers in tonight's service. If you take a bunch of feathers and put a few here, and a few there, then go back a couple days later, you won't be able to collect all that you've spread. The same can be said for words--once you've put some here and there, you can't take them back.

"So also the tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great things. How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire!" -James 3:5

The service tonight was top notch! Great job everyone! The cake and ice cream wasn't bad either...

Meet us in the tabernacle at 10:30 tomorrow.morning for service, then stick around for the hog roast right after. Suggested.donation is $5 per person and will go right toward the campground.

The games and fun were so fun today too! Thanks for coming out and enjoying the afternoon!

Tonight's concert with RuthAnn Yerden and Jean Shackleton was great! We also got to hear a men's quartet. Boy, was the talent flowing from the tabernacle!!

Tomorrow at 2 to 4 p.m. by the tabernacle will be a "carnival" with games, face painting, and other various games and activities. Then, tomorrow night at 7 p.m. is another musical concert with more contemporary music led by Arlyn Willett and his praise band. It's sure to be a good night! Oh, and don't forget about the cake and ice cream after the concert!

We hope you're enjoying camp meeting so far!

08/02/2018

It starts tonight in the Old Tabernacle with a hymn sing led by David Aukerman at 7 p.m.

Stop by the gazebo at the prayer garden between 3 and 5 p.m. to share some of your memories of camp meeting. Emily Holm will be set up to record videos and testimonies.

Let the party begin!

If anyone has a cabin or trailer they are not using, I am interested in renting it. I grew up on the campground, mom-Phyllis O'Leary took us. My granddaughter was raised on the campground, last year i took my great granddaughter and she can't wait to go again this year. But we need a place to stay. Nancy Beecher
