After some prototyping and test prints, I'm really happy with how this armrest turned out for my MG Midget! I'm planning on selling these in the near future, but figured I'd do some real world testing before then.

Yup, here at Project Howe I can reverse engineer and produce original or custom designed tail lights! These are from a 70s Ford/Mercury Car.

The process for these:
- 3D scan and Measure the original lenses
- Reverse engineer using digital CAD modeling
- 3D print a high resolution set
- Clean and perform a final cure
- Assemble the lenses
- Sand and polish
- UV clear Coat for clarity and longevity of the lenses
- After the clear coat cures, it's shipped off to the customer!

After 3D scanning the empty space for the cigarette lighter on this 1974 Maverick I made this Gauge Pod mount so we can see Coolant Temps and oil pressure. Has been working on a custom drivetrain and wanted to make sure this vital information was visible. Also here's another photo of the HVAC control panel installed as well!

Here's a perfect example of why prototyping in 3D printing is essential for most businesses and projects! With this HVAC control bezel on this 1974 Ford Maverick, the original had suffered some warpage and shrinkage from the desert sun here in St. George and Mesquite. This made it hard to get an accurate 3D scan that just worked. So, after 3 physical designs and test fits I was able to make the perfect one for the job!

⚙️Each of the prototypes only took 1.5 hours to print on our super fast printer.
⚙️ The final design was 12 hours of precise printing to capture all of the prime details.
⚙️The final cost for this part was less than $60 plus design time.

The ability to rapid prototype before making the final design was critical in saving time and cost. I mean look how good the final design for the panel turned out!

For those of you interested, this was designed for the universal controls that are supplied with "Hurricane" series unit.

Feel free to DM me for any ideas for a custom 3D printed job!

If you were wondering, yes this is actually 3D printed. The leather texture was modelled in, and the text was chromed after printing. This is for a 1974 Ford Maverick that had an aftermarket HVAC conversion since it didn't originally have AC. I absolutely love how this turned out!

Sometimes you gotta be resourceful with the packaging (Using B&W shipping labels for product labels). Getting closer to shipping out these kits for anyone with a 2015-2018 Ford Focus wanting select shift in their vehicle. 🎉🥳

A new iteration of the Select shift kit installed onto another 2017 Focus! I was talking to a guy about it and he was super interested. Don't mind the dirt, not my car 😅 So far he loves how it looks and is happy it works!
Forscan programming and complete installation was about 1.5hrs. Turns out the hardest part was removing the passenger airbag light trim 😅 This likely could have been completed in just under an hour if I hadn't struggled so much with it.

Kit cost is looking to be around $50, but I need to do some more work to make it 🤌🏻🤌🏻
