🔥 FIRST BIKE, FIRST BIG RIDE. 🏍️

We’re proud of our brother Westicles , he picked up a 2004 BMW R1200C as his first bike this past Wednesday, and today he knocked out almost 200 miles.

He’s an Army vet, so the fact that we were able to talk him into getting a helmet, gloves, and a vest is a miracle 😂😂

*ANNOUNCEMENT: EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY*

Bueno Jiu Jitsu is proud to announce our BLUE LINE PROJECT that sponsors 40 local law enforcement officers from start to purple belt and allows all other law enforcement personnel to have unlimited training for $25 per month, also from start to purple belt.

This initiative is dedicated to law enforcement officers and agents at all local, state, and federal agencies within the greater Lubbock region, including Lubbock County and all surrounding counties.

Participants will receive unlimited training, structured skill development, and access to academy-led projects and specialized instruction designed specifically to elevate their readiness, safety, and to build stress inoculation so they can perform their dangerous duties and still make it home each night.

When those who protect us become stronger, our entire community becomes stronger.

The project is a collaborative effort between Bueno Jiu Jitsu and Bueno student Brandon Darby, who is organizing and funding the program.

This is our commitment.

Last Saturday was one for the books. 🤘🇺🇸

We had the honor of sitting down for a joint meeting with Veterans Of Wars MC , and it was everything you’d hope for, great friends, great food, and the kind of conversations that remind you why you ride in the first place.

Respect to our brothers and sisters for the hospitality and solid camaraderie. Here’s to more miles, more meetups, and more memories made the right way.

Over the last four months, members of VÖRÐR Veteran/First Responder Motorcycle Club have been putting in work off camera. One of the highlights for us was teaming up with a brother from the Combat Veterans Motorcyle Association (https://cvma23-27.org) to help an Army veteran and his family get a new air conditioning unit installed. Taking care of veterans at home is a big part of why this club exists, and we were honored to be a small part of making their house more comfortable in this Texas heat.

We were also proud to ride in this year’s Veterans Day parade in Lubbock, alongside Veterans Of Wars MC. Rolling past the flags, families, and fellow veterans, seeing the community lined up in support, was a powerful reminder that West Texas still shows up for those who served. Thank you to Veterans of Wars MC, we will tag them so you can go give them a follow and support the work they are doing as well.

Thank you to everyone who came out, waved from the sidewalks, stopped to talk, and took a moment to get to know VÖRÐR Veteran/First Responder Motorcycle Club and what we stand for.

Most recently, some of our members joined the local Toys for Tots ride hosted by Wild West Harley-Davidson and Cook's Garage, lining up with other riders to deliver new, unwrapped toys and support the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots mission here in our area. There is nothing like seeing a long line of bikes loaded down with toys, all headed out to help make Christmas a little brighter for local kids.

And we are not slowing down.

This coming month, VÖRÐR Veteran/First Responder Motorcycle Club will be participating in Wreaths Across America, a nonprofit organization that places wreaths on veterans’ gravesites. Their mission is simple and powerful, remember the fallen, honor those who serve, and teach the next generation the value of freedom. This year, VÖRÐR Veteran/First Responder Motorcycle Club has voted to donate $200.00 worth of wreaths to help ensure more of our local veterans’ resting places are honored.
