Weston wasted no time in the feature, jumping out to the ๐—Ÿ๐—˜๐—”๐—— ๐—ข๐—ก ๐—ง๐—›๐—˜ ๐—ฉ๐—˜๐—ฅ๐—ฌ ๐—™๐—œ๐—ฅ๐—ฆ๐—ง ๐—Ÿ๐—”๐—ฃ! Unfortunately, a caution from the back of the field brought out a complete restart and put us back in the 3rd starting position.

On the restart, Weston went right back to work, picked up a position, and brought the #๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿต home ๐—ฃ๐Ÿฎ! ๐Ÿฅˆ

Really proud of the speed and consistency he's been showing. He continues to learn every time he gets behind the wheel, and it's awesome watching the progress!

Well, this weekend didn't start the way we hoped.
After an awesome win at US 24 Speedway last weekend, tonight Weston got together with another car and ended up flipping. The crash destroyed our wing and bent a couple of radius rods, but we're incredibly thankful that the JOES chassis, Impact Racing belts, and K1 suit and gloves all did exactly what they're designed to do. Most importantly, Weston walked away without any injuries.

Before the accident, the car was absolutely flying. We were fast time in hot laps, and it felt like we had a car capable of winning. Weston started 4th in the heat race and finished 4th. He had plenty of speed but just couldn't find an opening to get around the 3rd-place car.

Racing can be tough sometimes, but that's part of the journey. Parts can be replaced, and they sell them every day. Before long, the car will be back together and ready to chase another checkered flag.

Thank you to everyone who checked on Weston and to all of our family, friends, sponsors, and supporters. We'll get it repaired, learn from tonight, and come back even stronger. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’ช

Not the race night we were hoping for, but that's racing.

After hot laps, we got back to the pits and found oil leaking from the engine. We tracked it down to a broken engine case bolt that allowed the seal to push out. We spent the rest of the time tearing the engine down and getting it repaired, which meant we missed our heat race.

That put us starting at the back of the feature. Weston drove hard and worked his way up two positions before our chain broke, ending our night early.

Even with the bad luck, we still had a great time at the track. Racing is full of highs and lows, and every setback is another opportunity to learn and come back stronger.

This week we'll get everything back together, make a few upgrades, hopefully bolt on some fresh parts and new tires, and be ready to give it another shot next weekend.
