Finished up a tune yesterday on a ecoboost swapped Transit van using 93. This car had been at a couple other shops, and had had nothing but problems before coming to us to get corrected. Other people said that this was going to be "untunable", but we were able to get this swap car finished up and making some great power. On 93 Octane pump gas this car laid down an impressive 456whp/468wtq.

I had the pleasure of doing a remote dyno tune for a shop over in Dubai last week. It's just a basic S650 ecoboost with bolt-ons. This was done on pump gas and we saw some pretty impressive gains over the stock tune. The first thing we did was dyno the car on the factory tune with all of the mods installed. It laid down 269whp/356 wtq, and hit the factory speed limiter which is why you see the dyno end at 5800rpm. With the baseline number recorded it was time to optimize the tune for modifications/available octane. After I was finished we ended up at 334whp/408wtq. A peak gain of 65whp and 52wtq. It goes to show how you can spend a ton of money on parts, but if you don't alter the tune you will never get the gains you are looking for.

Big turbo and an 11.50 goal!

Our lead Ford Fiesta ST tuner, Westley Kimble PHUL Performance brought his own 2015 Fiesta ST to The The Shootout to put it to work!

His big turbo build had an 11.50-second goal for the weekend, and he reached it. Anything quicker was a bonus. The plan from there? Keep making passes, have fun, and hopefully keep it in one piece!

We finished up a stock turbo automatic ecoboost mustang last week with one of our budget motors on a stock turbo. This car has your normal boltons, and e30 it just has a stronger bottom end to handle the additional tq. This car is still on the stock fuel system as well. With 375whp/486wtq it's pretty rowdy on the street.

Finished up a remote tune for a customer in Canada today. A built motor Focus ST on e85 with a G25-550 turbocharger. We are limited by turbo shaft speed here as we wanted to stay within the 185k rpm max rating of the turbo, but it still managed to put down 472whp/465wtq.

A billet Engineered Motorsport Solutions Inc. valve cover installed on Eric's built motor/big turbo Focus ST. I had to trim a little material out of the HPFP housing and XDI pump to ensure fitment and adapt some fittings/hoses for the crankcase ventilation, but you gotta do what you gotta do!

Eric also had me resolve a re-occuring P0087 code, perform a parasitic draw test, replace a failed brake switch, make some datalogging/tuning adjustments, and do an oil change.

Better driveability, no more check engine light, operating brake lights, and a little more bling under the hood! Thanks to Alan Jackson at Edge Autosport with his help on this one for us!
