Hello Old Coots and Friends!
I’m pleased to say the RSVP for our Annual Old Coots Chapter Holiday Lunch has been great! So far, 32 friends and families coming to celebrate our beloved friend Pete Tomory at this annual tradition.
Please spread the word about our Holiday Lunch Celebration. It would be a shame if someone was to miss our lunch and guests.

Dear Old Coots and Friends,
It is with heavy heart I bring the sad news of the passing of our beloved friend Pete Tomory Sr. Pete lost his battle with cancer on Saturday. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers in their time of mourning.
Pete was the founder and moderator of The Old Coots On Scoots - Skylands Riders Chapter 47 and a longtime member of Northwest Jersey Harley Owners Group #2906. Pete was a fixture in the motorcycle community and a friend to all. Pete served many offices in NWJHOG and brought all Old Coots friends and families together every year for a well-attended Holiday Lunch. It was the highlight of the winter riding season for many!
A few NWJHOG members will be meeting at Tramontin HD in Hope, NJ on Friday, August 23rd at 6:00pm for a short ride to pay respects to our longtime fellow HOG and Coots member and brother, Pete. If you are interested in joining, please send an email or text to [email protected], 908-436-7100

Funeral Services will be held Friday evening August 23, 2019 at 8:30 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home 156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ. Visitation will also be held Friday in the Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-8:30 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials in Peter’s memory may be made to www.karenannquinlanhospice.org

According to our current weather forecast, this Thursday, November 8th, should be mostly sunny, seasonably warm, and ideal for our Old Coots On Scoots, Skylands Riders Chapter 47, Scenic Backroads Ride & Lunch.

Sending out a "Big Thanks" to our fellow Old Coot Gary Wolfgang who has volunteered to lead our Old Coots On Scoots ride this Thursday, November 8th, during my absence due to my current medical treatments, tests and doctor visits.

Let's all meet at the brand new Augusta QuikChek on the corner of Routes 15 & 206 at Ross' Corner this Thursday, November 8th, at 9:00am with kickstands up 9:30am. Please note our new ride meet location and earlier meet time.

Gary will lead a relaxing scenic ride through Warren and Hunterdon Counties down to Frenchtown, NJ and then across the Delaware River which we will follow north to the biker friendly Riverside Bar & Grill for a nice relaxing lunch.

Ride safe & enjoy your Old Coots On Scoots Day.!

According to our current weather forecast for tomorrow, Wednesday, should be mostly sunny, seasonably warm, and ideal for our Old Coots On Scoots, Skylands Riders Chapter 47, Scenic Backroads Ride & Lunch.
