This car was a wild ride. In the end it all worked out. Actually made over 530hp when all was done (have it on go pro / my phone died while recording).
So, little story behind this car. We did a bit of stuff to the car. Tomei Cams, HKS twin turbos, Radium fuel rail, ID1050X injectors, LINK ECU, HKS Adjustable cam gears, Nismo Twin Disc Clutcb etc. Still stock bottom end and other than cams the rest of the head internally is stock. When we first returned the car to the owner. With power to only 460ish hp, he was driving home and lost oil pressure. Crazy! We went to him (as he was just out of town a few minutes) and determined that his oil pump most likely failed. We had the car towed back to the shop. Owner and myself didnt know how bad the damage was or if the motor was good. The owner ordered new gears and bought a n1 pump I had at the shop. This guy does not play around he literally overnights parts! When we went back to take it apart to replace the oil pump, the damage to the pump was crazy. It literally shattered in 2 and cracked the housing too (mechanical failure / nobody's fault). This is now the second time we pulled the engine and transmission. There was metal shavings in the engine. We carefully blew out and vaccumed what we could. Said a long prayer to the Car Gods...LOL While we were there we adjusted the internal wastegates a bit more. Put everything together again. Primed the engine, made sure we had oil pressure, flushed it a couple times to get as much of the metal shaving / flakes, etc out of the engine. Drove it around a little to make sure everything was good and then back on the dyno it went. Ended up making over 530hp and almost 400tq while remaining on pump 91 fuel and under 20lbs of boost. We were more than excited and surprised! Thanks to the owner for your patience and trusting us with your car!
