This 2024 Ram 3500 6.7L Cummins came in for a little surgery.

The factory camshaft and hydraulic lifters were replaced with the Hamilton Cams 19+ camshaft and lifter conversion. The factory hydraulic lifter design has become a known concern on the newer 6.7L Cummins engines, and Hamilton’s conversion replaces it with a more robust valvetrain designed to improve long term durability and reliability while maintaining excellent drivability.

While everything was apart, we also installed a Banks Monster-Ram intake system to improve airflow into the engine and complement the new valvetrain.

It’s always satisfying seeing these projects come together. Preventative upgrades like these can provide peace of mind while setting the foundation for future performance modifications.
