I wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you that have called, texted or sent me a message. I appreciate your prayers as my body continues to heal. As many of you know, on January 2nd, I had a fall and that resulted in my neck being broken.
A couple of my friends are hosting a benefit, if you are interested in participating, the details are below shared by Danny Lowery:
A benefit for Kevin Ferguson, a friend to many, who suffered a severe spinal cord injury the day after New Year’s, has been organized. Kevin is a small business owner and has had to temporarily close his shop.
The benefit consists of: A quail hunt for 2 shooters at Wildcat Creek Shooting Preserve near Puckett. $450 value. My sons, a couple of grandsons and I have hunted with Wildcat Creek Shooting Preserve several times and have had great fun and made great memories each time. The hunt is guided using their dogs.
Tickets are $20 each. Drawing to be held Saturday, February 11th. The 1/2 day hunt is scheduled for March 11th but can be adjusted for your schedule, if necessary. The hunt for 2 has already been purchased at a discount (thanks to Craig Williams with Wildcat Creek Shooting Preserve) so all proceeds go directly to the benefit.
See Dale Sistrunk, Robin Roberts Lowery or me for tickets. PayPal [email protected]. Be sure to put your phone number in the PayPal notes or message me, so we can contact you if your name is drawn. Please comment “sent”. Make checks payable to: William Lowery, 856 Barker Rd, Morton, Ms, 39117. Please note: For Kevin Ferguson benefit.
Thanks to all and keep “Bombarding Heaven For Kevin”!
Note: The hunt is not limited to the name drawn. If you do not wish to hunt you can give the hunt to a friend or family member and they can take someone as a 2nd shooter. Also, there is space to add 2 or 3 more hunters at their regular price, if you have other friends who want to hunt with you. You may also see Darlene Sistrunk for tickets.
