The ski has just clicked onto 300h today

Litrally just come out the shop 2 days ago from a full service full heath check everything is 100%

full RIVA racing stage 1 kit, highflow riva racing exhast, riva racing air box, riva racing blue flutes & prop, riva racing ride plates riva sponsons, new wear ring& batterie, the ski starts first touch of the botton and rides all day no problems, ive put around 30hours in the last 2 weeks or so, nice fast comfortable ski with that legendary reliably MR1 engine, good condition suspension roller trailer With new jockey wheel. Allways flushed with tablets and cleaned down after every outing, comes with cover 2 keys and 1 remote.

Couple of dings and scratches that has been properly fixed. Front seat cover is ripped at the seams so will need some attention, speedo has gone off today after loosing the spiny wheel off the sensor, £4500

So I finally pulled the plug and purchased my Navigation unit (or as they call it "Marine Chartplotter") including an in hull transducer.

Asked all summer of 2021 on all the forums for some advice / examples but didn't see anything I liked and to be honest very few people have GPS / Nav / Chartplotter / Fish Finders on their JetSki's. So I decided to go on my own.

Purchased a pair of 2021 Kawasaki Ultra LX's last year and picked them up at the end of May 2021. Had an amazing 2021 summer and put 45 hours on both machines. Seeing as we don't own a cottage or waterfront property we visit different lakes each week. As people know when you visit unknown lakes it can be a pain in the ass to remember where you came from or even where you launched if you don't have a good mark and fantastic memory. After a day on the lake sometimes going in circles the shoreline can look the same all over. Also for safety I wanted to know the depth and any obstacles to avoid.

I tried the iphone / Navionics combo but to be honest it was a pain. Holding an iphone while navigating or mounting it and hoping it does not fly off the ski is a nightmare. Aside from that my eyes are not the best up close (yeah the years are adding up) I need something larger and more stable. Which leads me to my new baby.

Garmin UHD 95SV + GT15M-IH Transducer. (Oh and some other toys).

The Garmin UHD 95SV comes with a GT56 transducer however it's an outboard and from what I have been told with the bubbles created by the JetSki the outboard Transducer will not work efficiently in regards to readings. The GT15M-IH Transducer is an in hull transducer and will work perfectly for my needs.

This is a fish finder also which I may try and take a crack at one day but for me my main purchase was to chartplot and map out journeys for many summers to come.

Hi all, just purchased my first jet ski ever. 2006 STX-15f. Took it out for the first time this weekend and wow what a blast. I did some research on this model before buying and learned they are a pretty reliable ski when they are taken care of. The machine I bought has 225 hours and has only been used in fresh water and stored indoors when not in use. I was able to water test it before buying and it started right up and was able to reach 63 mph as it’s supposed to. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the jet drive already has the KP jet drive shaft upgrades which I read are a leading cause of pump and engine failure. The other common problem I read about is the screen getting “sunburnt” making it unreadable. Is there a solution for this problem like some form of UV protective film I can put over the screen that people do? I see that there is a small amount of this sun damage on the screen already but it’s still in pretty good shape. I would like to prevent it from getting any worse if possible.
