Heavy Chevy

A little rework on this project. Customer brought this 'built' cluster to me because he wasn't happy with it.

Got it straightened out and looking sharp.

White backlighting and red needle glow is one of my favorites combos.

Here’s something most people don’t even know is happening inside their cluster…

This is called silver migration 👇

Over time, moisture + voltage can cause tiny conductive paths to form across the circuit board. It basically starts “growing” metal between points that aren’t supposed to be connected.

What that leads to:
- Random warning lights
- Gauges acting weird or sticking
- Dim or glitchy displays
- Intermittent issues that come and go

And the frustrating part… it’s not always obvious unless you tear the cluster down and look for it.

Those white/gray fuzzy spots you see in these pics? That’s the problem.

When I rebuild clusters, I clean this up and make sure those unintended connections are gone so everything works the way it should again.

If your cluster is doing anything weird or inconsistent, this is one of the hidden causes.

Another one brought back to life 🔧

This Silverado cluster came in with:
- Dim / barely visible PRNDL screen
- Burnt out backlighting
- Failing gauge motors
- Scratched, hazy lens

Got it fully gone through and cleaned up:
✔️ New X27 stepper motors
✔️ Repaired PRNDL display (bright and readable again)
✔️ Fresh backlighting throughout
✔️ Lens buffed and polished

Simple stuff—but it makes a huge difference when you’re driving at night. Looks like it should again.

If your gauges are sticking, lights are out, or your display is fading, I can fix it.

HVAC LED upgrade on this one 👇

Swapped the factory lighting over to clean white LEDs. Way brighter, way easier to read at night, and no more faded yellow look.

Lighting is even across the whole unit—no dark spots or uneven glow.

Small upgrade, but it makes a big difference when you’re driving at night.

If your climate controls are dim or you want everything to match your cluster, I can convert these too.

Rebuild finished up 👇

This one came in with typical issues—sticking gauges and weak backlighting. Got it rebuilt and back out the door fast.

* New stepper motors
* Factory-style lighting restored
* Fully tested before it leaves

Nothing fancy on this one… just getting everything working like it should again.

If your speedo is off, fuel gauge is all over the place, or lights are dim, this is the fix.
