Catamount Custom Cycles

Catamount Custom Cycles Catamount Custom Cycles is a Vermont based ,father and son bussiness that builds custom 100 MPG cycles and mopeds.

Slapping a motor into the frame of a bicycle, laughing at the idea of suspension, then setting out to race your friends at speeds that are quite remarkably excessive are the founding principles of the world of motorcycling. The pioneers who created the very concept of the motorcycle could look at the bikes we build, and instantly recognize it as a motorized velocipede, which actually sounds a lot cooler than “motorbike”.

I read this at least once a month. “To laugh often and love much; to win the respect of intelligent persons and the affection of children; to earn the approbation of honest citizens and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to give of one’s self; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived—this is to have succeeded.” ― Bessie Anderson Stanley
