The venerable .416-mile oval opened in 1952 and continues to host exciting local racing action today. Five divisions compete regularly from April-September: NASCAR WHELEN All-American Series Late Model, Limited Sportsman, MOD-4, Super Street and UCAR. Motor Mile Speedway has been NASCAR-sanctioned since 1988. Beginning with Tim McGuire, the track has crowned 14 NASCAR Late Model track champions in

29 seasons. Motor Mile Speedway has been the home track of two NASCAR WHELEN All-American Series national champions on six different occasions: Philip Morris (2006, ’08, ’09) and Lee Pulliam (2012, ’13, ’15).

Big weekend August 7th Smart Modified, also just confirmed CCMS, so 2 modified races! LLM, SS and double points race for legends! Then on August 8th, open house for the drag strip, arm drop grudge matches, farmers market(please spread the word) and as far as the car show, we didn’t realize it was going to hit on the big event in Radford, feel free to bring cars over but we don’t want to pull away from their event so it will not be a big event, Thanks for the support and look forward to seeing everyone out! Also Monster Trucks August 15th and A rain out makeup on August 22nd for all classes!

Okay, update on drag strip! August 8th we are going to have an open house, we are looking for a few groups that would like to participate!
We would like to have a swap meet and
Car show,
Heads up grudge matches, full transparency our timing system is still being repaired but we want to get everyone out to see all the improvements, we will have arm drop starts, we would also love to have a farmers market set up that day, please message us if you have any groups that would like to participate in swap meet, car show or farmers market, concession will be open, Look forward to seeing everyone and seeing cars back on the drag strip! Thanks for your patience and look forward to the future of the circle track and drag strip!!!!

We are looking at dates to makeup rained out races. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing everyone at oval track weekly racing events and at the drag strip, which we will be opening soon.

After much consideration, we have made the decision to cancel tomorrow’s race due to the weather forecast. We are still open for practice today from 12-8 pm. The race will be made up at a later date.
