What a night of racing for the Central Va. Vintage DIRT Series!!! Walter Crouch visited from the Wi******er area and pulled off the WIN! Walter drew the pole and won the heat. Come Feature time, 9 cars started and Bobby Hunter out of Greensboro NC pulled out to a early lead with Walter, Earl Brooks and Bill Coada in hot pursuit. Taking the lead on lap 2, Walter pulled out to a comfortable lead while Bill, Bobby and Earl settled in for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. A caution on lap 11 bunched them up and gave Bill Coada a chance to try to get by Crouch but couldn't pull it off. Not a scratch on any of the cars, good CLEAN racing from all the drivers made it a great night for Vintage racing. Bill joined Walter in Victory lane for a pic!

It looks like we will have 2 BRAND NEW DRIVERS racing for their FIRST TIME on a dirt track. The Vintage class is a GREAT PLACE to get your feet wet since we try our hardest to keep from "rubbing" the cars together. Every person that straps into a race car does it first and foremost to have FUN. The Vintage class is the most FUN you can have in a race car in my opinion.
