2004 V8 4Runner in for a full Level 2 service.

Owner came down from Seattle for the day so we could get the front of the engine sorted properly before summer trips and more miles.

Timing belt, water pump, pulleys, fan bracket, crank seal, cooling system service- all handled in one shot.

Hard to beat a 4.7L Toyota deep in the forest where it belongs.

Before and after polishing the timing tube surface during an ’06 Tundra 4.7l VVT-i cam seal service.

Worth taking the extra time to clean up properly while everything’s apart.

Packed the whole job into a day and didn’t even get a chance to photograph the truck once it was back together.

Junkyard LS400 turned JDM 1UZ-swapped daily.

Handled the timing belt/water pump service along with a few additional refresh items while access was available.

These cars are a reminder of how overbuilt the older Lexus platforms really were. Even after all these years, a properly sorted LS still drives better than most modern cars.

Triple locked 80 Series Land Cruiser in for a front axle refresh and heater core replacement.

Knuckles were dry and definitely past due, but luckily caught before things got ugly.

Fresh Sumo kit, wheel bearings, moly grease, and new diff oil to get the front end sorted back out. Heater core was also replaced to address coolant smell/leak concerns before the truck heads into more miles and trips this season.

These trucks take a lot of work to keep right, but when they’re dialed, they’re hard to beat

100 Series Land Cruiser- stock fog setup.

Without going to a steel front bumper, the lighting options on these have always been pretty dismal.

I’ve got a set from on the way.

Going to install them, put them through real use, and see how they do before rolling them out to client builds.

I got this 1998 100 series Land Cruiser from my pops in 2019. It was never a show truck, just a beat up old four-speed w/ a locker on 33s.

These older trucks are simple, mechanical, and built to be used. They just keep going- no matter how hard you drive them.

Prepped this one for Moab a while back.
06 Land Cruiser w/ 37s and Dissent Armor— timing belt, water pump, alternator.

Still one of my favorites.

This 2005 Tundra came in shortly after purchase to address key maintenance items and establish a known starting point.

Timing belt and water pump service performed along with lower ball joint replacement — common wear items on this platform that impact both reliability and safety.

Addressing these components early helps reduce unknowns and supports long-term ownership, especially on higher-mileage Toyota trucks.

Clean Lexus LS430 in for a full baseline.

These 4.3L V8s are some of the smoothest engines Toyota ever built, but like any aging platform, reliability comes down to staying ahead of known wear items. This one had solid bones and had clearly been well cared for — just ready for the next chapter.

We addressed the core timing components with a timing belt and water pump, then refreshed the entire accessory drive system while access was available. From there, we moved into the upper engine: spark plugs with tube seals, valve cover gaskets, and a front crank seal to prevent future oil contamination of the timing components.

To finish it off, the VVT-i cam seals were replaced following factory procedures, resetting another common leak point and helping ensure long-term dependability.

No major surprises — just methodical, system-based maintenance on a clean example. These are the kinds of jobs that keep an LS430 running quietly for another 100k+ miles.

2006 Sequoia with center diff lock in for a full front-of-engine baseline.

Timing belt, water pump, accessory drive refresh, fan clutch, alternator, and coolant temp sensor. The goal was simple — eliminate the common wear points and set it up for dependable miles.

Owner came from a Jeep that always seemed to be in the shop. He wanted something proven, and more importantly, a maintenance approach that keeps it that way.

With fresh bearings, charging system components, and cooling system sensors, this one is set up for the long way home.
