After several 3rd gear failures in our ND HPDE car, We've upgraded to the NC 6-Speed and new L*D differential. Also a Exedy stage 1 clutch. Ready to rip this weekend.

ONE FOR THE BOOKS!!!
What a weekend. We went in knowing we had a stacked field and some fierce competition for ChampCar Endurance Series "Eye of the storm" 8 & 7 hour Enduro.

SATURDAY -8 hours
Started at the rear of the 63 car field, 19 in class. Bluey, driven by Demis & Lucian Russu , ran flawless, taking P2 in class and 9th overall.
Hulk , driven by Gary Lund & Jay, started with a multi-car incident early on, follow later on by broken throttle body, resulting in a wide open throttle. Gary executed quickly and saved the car from what could have been a serious outcome. After quick throttle body swap, hour 6 reared a failed alternator, ultimately ended P10, 26th overall

SUNDAY - 7 hours
With a inverted now 45 car field, we started up front, 6th and 7th. Cars ran absolutely flawless from start to finish. Driving , pit crew, and strategy was executed to perfection. Even with a unfortunately contact with the wall at the 6th hour, both hulk and bluey were on the same lap running a fire pace. Managing the incredible 2/3 finish in class and 5th & 6th overall. Incredible after 7 hours, hulk nudged out bluey by 2 tenths of a second!!!(Ok we might have set this up for a awesome picture opportunity from Chuck Miller Photography ).

Time to make some repairs and prep for our next event at in October.

#540, aptly named "Poppa Smurf". Personal track car turned racecar. Intended to debut at champcar this weekend, but err on the side of caution, postponed until later until we can get a good shakedown. Can't wait to see this on the track in it's current setup.

Once again, Antonelli Auto & Tire killing it with getting not 1 alignment, but 3 of our cars dialed in before this weekend ChampCar Endurance Series 8/7 hr Enduro.
