This weekend definitely didn’t go the way we had planned, but that’s racing.

Thursday night, we drew a good starting spot and were able to pick up the heat win. We started 3rd in the feature, fell back to 5th, and were able to hold on for a top-five finish.

Friday night, we didn’t get as good of a draw and started 4th in the 6th heat. We fell back to 6th after getting together with another car. We then started 8th in the 3rd consi, and that’s when everything started going downhill. We got spun and had to restart from 11th.

After the restart, I tried to run the bottom and get a run off the bottom of 2. Unfortunately, I clipped the infield tire, which sent the car darting into the infield and resulted in a hard head-on hit with the other infield tire. We hit the right front hard enough to shove the front clip to the left and left me with a bunch of tailbone pain.

Luckily, nothing else happened that caused any more pain, and thankfully, it was the end of the season.

We’ll get the car unloaded and start tearing into the damage to see what we’re working with and get it ready for the 2027 season.

I can’t thank everyone enough for all the support, help, and hard work you’ve given us throughout the year to get this car on the track. From the people who turned wrenches to everyone who cheered us on, hauled us around, helped with parts, or simply followed along — we truly appreciate every bit of it.

Not the way we wanted to end the season, but we’ll take what we learned, fix what we broke, and come back ready for 2027. 🏁
