Little throwback to the Tri-Five Nationals in 2018 when Pops and I made the trip out to Kentucky to check it all out and get some ideas for how we wanted to finish RODS '55.

We got to hang with some of the Tri-5 Mob guys, check out their cars, and meet a lot of great people. Kregg has built an awesome group of guys over the years, and itโ€™s pretty cool seeing how much theyโ€™ve grown and now even having their own corner at the Nationals!

Pops and I always planned on going back, but this time driving the โ€™55 all the way from SoCal to Kentucky. We were actually planning to make that trip with Will Estrada in 2022, but unfortunately his cancer came back and we werenโ€™t able to go. He passed later that year, so that trip never happened the way we had planned.

One of these years, Iโ€™m going to finish what we started, load up the wife and kids, get behind the wheel of the โ€™55, and make that drive to Kentucky. It wonโ€™t be the same without Pops riding shotgun, but I know heโ€™ll be along for the ride. ๐Ÿงก

Until then, hope everyone out there has an awesome weekend at the Nationals. Enjoy the cars, the people, and the memories. Hopefully weโ€™ll see you out there one of these years!
