WE ARE HIRING!!!

We are an independent car dealership and auto repair facility located in central Iowa and we currently have an opening for a full-time Automotive Technician. This is a great opportunity to perform a variety of work on vehicles of all ages, both foreign and domestic. We offer health and dental insurance, life insurance, disability, and matching 401K. Starting pay is $25 to $30 an hour with paid time off. Technician hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 4:30 and no weekends. Opportunity for overtime is available. MUST BE ASE CERTIFIED.

Responsabilities:

• Diagnose and repair most vehicle systems
• Verbally explain diagnosis, recommendations, and repairs
• Document diagnosis, recommendations, and repairs
• Road test and quality check all work performed
• Perform work in a timely manner
• Participate in ongoing training and education
• Assist other technicians when needed
• Keep work area clean and safe
• Be able to account for all tools

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• ASE certification
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Prior diagnostic and repair experience
• Good attendence and on time
• Good communication skills
• Good work ethic
