Good friend of the shop had a transmission go out in his JT Sport. As luck would have it, he sourced a used low mile replacement in great shape....out of a Rubicon. We'll get it swapped out this weekend. He's going to love that 4:1 transfer case 😎

A couple of lifelong Texas mechanics that love working on Jeeps. Modifications and normal maintenance on CJ though JL/JT only...and nothing else.

Wow. This could've ended bad. Splines on the pitman arm almost smooth. Shop ride Rock Lizard JKUR was all over the road. Now we know why. Of course, parts store out here doesn't have one. No worries. Full Redneck Ram kit going in. Pitman arm delivery tomorrow all good.

In the meantime, I'm going to pull the rear seats out. DIY delete, with help from Motobilt, can start going in. Stay tuned for the finish. It's going to be pretty bad ass. 👍

Sometimes, a $150 welder from hobo freight will trail fix spider gears pretty good 😊

I'm going a different route on our Rock Lizard JKU. I'm in need of a stock diff cover and bolts for a rear D44 on a JK. I have a Yukon cover with bolts that I'll swap you for free if need be. Let me know if you see/have one. Pointblank/Onalaska/Livingston area.
