Allegan Motorsports was founded on having fun, enjoying time with family and friends as well as supporting the Cobra motocross community. Allegan started as a father and son hobby, but quickly grew into a full time growing business as Cobra motorcycles continued to dominate the 50cc class. The need for quality service, fast accurate parts delivery, and mechanical training to help parents along wit
h the rest of the pit crews keep the bikes running for the kids became a demanding business. We were privileged to work hand and hand with Cobra Factory in helping develop some of the top riders in the country as well as build some of the fastest AMA stock national engines for these riders. From working with Factory mechanics, creating the CobraTalk chat forum, providing bike clinics for the parents, ride days at our track and some occasional fireworks we have done just about everything. But it still is the smile on the faces of the kids when we fix their bikes that keep us going. In 2008 Allegan Motorsports was one of the largest Cobra Dealers in the country and spent nearly every weekend traveling to local races, qualifiers, and nationals all over the country. But with a beautiful small child that we had adopted in 2006 we had to make a very difficult decision to take a break and focus on our family and her needs. During the years off we continued to support Cobra motorcycles and the motocross community, as well as spend many weekends at the local tracks or making the family vacation to Loretta Lynn's for a few days of racing. We continued to do a little trackside support to help our riders that we still supported and stay in touch with vendors. In the Spring of 2013 we decided it was time to officially open the Allegan Motorsports doors again and head back out to the track. We are here for the families and the motocross community because for us that is what this is all about. We believe riders and parents deserve quality service and products that they can trust, and this is what Allegan has always strived to provide. Honesty, Integrity, Family and Community, some things just never go out of style.
