Update on the generator we have on order for the park water system:
The generator came in but they sent the wrong size so they are sending the correct size unfortunately it won’t be here until next week 😢

To our park residents & anyone else in the area. Keep an eye on the weather. Be prepared if there is a power outage such as fill pails of water for flushing toilets. Have drinking water maybe have a cooler with ice reading. Be safe!!

Exclusive look at the in house MSC-WCI (wind concern index) for today’s severe weather threat. We have a wide area at a 6/10 and a localized area at a 7/10. Highest concern areas remains western lower and parts of far southern lower Michigan.

This index takes several model factors into account and spits out a number based on set parameter factors.

On top of our late-night severe weather outlook release on a separate post, we have an approximate START time timing map for your Monday midday timeframe, July 27th, 2026.

Discussion
A developing line of damaging winds is probable across much of the Lower Peninsula west of I-75 from 8 am EDT through 4 pm EDT. While additional pop-up storms are possible in the evening, this map focuses on the main bowing segment that has been modeled in consecutive runs this evening. Gusty winds of 60-90 mph are possible, if the jet streak can push east. Some hail, and brief spin-up tornadoes are also possible. Not everyone will see these significant winds, but it does present problems to infrastructure if models are correct. Additionally, we are currently tracking a cluster of cells in the eastern Upper Peninsula that will move south through the dashed white area between now and 7 am EDT. The gray area in northeastern LP is the blank background, and does not have timing besides the storms over the next 5 hours.

I follow Michigan Storm Chaser & here is there Sunday, Monday & early Tuesday forecast. Because we still are waiting on our new generator to be installed it would be good for people to prepare for power outages. If u have a bathtub u can fill it with water for flushing toilets using a pail to dip water out. And or fill containers such as pails, pans, bowls & so on. Secure down any outside items so the wind doesn’t blow it away just be prepared as much as possible and keep an eye on the weather. 
P.S. keep your phones charged, have batteries, & flash lights. Keep an I out in your neighborhoods if they need help. Call us if we can help in some way.
