Just a reminder that we are still alive and kicking but are now Pro Kart Concepts and operate out of our new home at Quaker City Karting.

We’ve had an intersting uptick in visitors and new followers recently and want to invite everyone to see our new home - with over 1500 square feet of shop space, storage for 60+ karts and nearly 30 race ready karts for sale!

Pitt Race may be gone forever but we have a new home that loves our karting community just 30 minutes away!

It has been pretty quiet with Kartwerks of late but for good reason as we have been hard at work on some exciting changes! Pro Kart Concepts will be a new name with familiar faces to karting at Pitt Race and the Great Lakes Region. Please check the PR out below and make sure to like the PKC page to keep up with a host of news and updates coming soon.

All retail sales, service, storage and Arrive & Drive programs will now go through PKC while Kartwerks will just be home for my personal coaching endeavors and possibly a couple of cool projects that have been on the backburner for many years.

Thanks to everyone for the years of support, camaraderie and friendship - it has meant the world to me! Looking forward to helping Eric build something special once again with PKC. Can't get rid of me that easily! 😀

Winning the ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour Championship wraps up a hell of a week for Luca Mars! And an invitation to represent Team USA at the Rok Cup International Final in Italy in October once again. We have a long standing admiration & respect for FWT and it will always be special to us as the place that launched our program. Incredibly proud to land two more race wins in 2019 and our second Florida Winter Tour Championship in three years!

It will be difficult to put this old girl out to pasture too. Since last fall Luca and this kart were top 5 90% of the official sessions they hit the track together with 60% in the top 3 and 33% at P1 without a single DNF! Just crazy stats - Luca continues to amaze us with maturity, speed and track presence beyond his years.

Once again it was an absolute blast to work this weekend alongside the Speed Concepts Racing gang, SwedeTech and Andy Schlosser - what an awesome, dominant run throughout the winter.

Luca garnering some well earned accolades from a very successful month of February! The SKUSA Winter Series championship is in the books and he has the points lead going in to the Florida Winter Tour finale this weekend too. 😎

One of the programs we are really excited about for 2019 is the return of youth karting classes to Pittsburgh International Race Complex. As many of you know we’ve spent a lot of years introducing families and young racers to karting. Returning to our roots, the grassroots so to speak, is a great way for us to give back to the sport that has been such a big part of our lives.

To help move things forward we’ve been able to take a number of fantastic karts on consignment and pass the deals on to new families. This Energy Storm package that Reece Cooper will be piloting is the perfect example of what will be competing in the Sportsman LO206 class. We have similar packages currently being prepped for JJ O’Neil, Ricky Davis and Rocco Mars as well. Tuesday practice is going to be a blast!

We have just two more used Energy Storm chassis left currently to build similar packages (and a few new as well). Come and have some fun with a growing group of kids this season!

We've been spending a lot of time on the road with Luca Mars and the Speed Concepts Racing gang as of late and have been a little quiet in this space as a result. Also we’ve had fun watching and encouraging Luca as he starts to embrace his role in the PR end of the business too!

It's almost racing season though at home and we are really excited to be helping Pittsburgh International Race Complex grow their karting program. Can't wait to see the Kid Karts, Sportsman and Juniors back in action this year after their fantastic growth re-establishing Senior racing in 2018!

Stay tuned as we start to utilize this space once again for local racing programs and also to still help promote Luca Mars Motorsports starting with some really exciting news to announce soon!
