Many of our neighbors have asked at times: who is Ted?

The service station is named after Ted. Ted is our family friend and Iraq war veteran. In early 2023, he was diagnosed with the devastatingly terminal brain cancer of Glioblastoma (GBM) linked to his service at burn pits in Iraq.

Ted passed away In May 2024.

In line with our deep respect for our veterans, we also want to mention the beloved veteran of Munhall, John Listak, who became a friend and mentor as he transitioned the ownership of his business - built of his family's legacy in Munhall - to us. About 50 years before Ted, John Listak answered the same call of duty to serve in Korea.

Ted’s Service Station honors soldiers like Ted and John who answer the call of duty to uphold the ideals of our nation. As our commitment to honor Ted, we will donate a portion of our profits to Ted’s son and wife.

Over the last few months, we have had the opportunity to meet a lot of our neighbors and we are very grateful for various welcome gifts.
Just to put faces and names together, we are two brothers, Bilal and Muhammad; we have operated gas stations in the Greater Pittsburgh area for more than 25 years. As new stewards of this well-established business, our commitment is to seamlessly blend the trusted legacy of the past with a sustained focus on service. Please join us in embracing the next chapter of your beloved service where the spirit of community and reliable service have always converged.

WELCOME TO TED’S SERVICE STATION

We are excited to be a part of the Munhall community and remain committed to providing the great and continued service you have previously received from Listak Gulf Service. While we do our best, we will make some mistakes and we request your grace and patience as we transition business operations. Mr. and Mrs. Listak had assembled a great team and we offered to retain all of the current staff to continue the same level of services. We are grateful that John and Jacquie Listak have trusted us to continue the legacy of this service station and we look forward to the friendship and support of this community and Good Lord’s continued blessings
