Hot Rod Ridge

Hot Rod Ridge At Hot Rod Ridge we do primarily car restorations.

We can do everything including dismantling cars, completely sandblasting them, welding in patches and or replacement panels, through the body work and into a complete paint job with a show quality cut and buffed finish. One major advantage in bringing a restoration project to us is that we can usually negotiate an affordable biweekly budget to work at so the customer doesn't get hammered with an expensive bill or staggering cost all at once.

Not all that long ago we took in this t-bucket. What started off as body work and a paint job on the fiberglass body tub morphed into the bigger job of us getting it done and ready for upholstery. This was a very fun project. We got to put our paint skills to the test with some custom flames. Such a neat ride.

Given its condition it came in, this poor mustang has been through quite the journey here so far. Nonetheless, it’s in primer now and the exciting stuff is just around the corner. Props to Ethann for his meticulous efforts to assure the mustang panels and lines are consistent and straight.

The ‘68 has made its way through the jamming process and is starting to resemble a nice Camaro again. Unfortunately this House Of Kolor tri-coat is impossible to capture with a camera. It sure is radiant color. Hoping to see it painted next week.

After getting a new top put on, having the rear valance straightened out, getting a new front valance, some front end alignment, a cut and buff and a new radiator the 68 Firebird went home today. To top it off, the owners came in a 1979 Trans Am to get their ‘68!

Brought this little relic to the shop today. I looked at this car when the owner got it about 6 years ago. Since that time we did a little work on the rearend and he’s been able to fall in love with it enough to pull the trigger on a full frame off restoration and we couldn’t be more excited.
