Playing around with nickel plating on hardware for the Mustang. Not anywhere near perfect yet, but working on it!! Some before and after pictures so we can see the progress as we get continue to learn and improve.

We would like to thank every member of the PITS team! Once again you have done an amazing job and put on one of the premier Mustang shows in the US!

To me these pictures are what it is all about! (First picture) My son and I started attending in 2018 in his 2002 Mustang, which by the way was his first car. (Second Picture) 2019 was his first time of entering the show and he came home with a Top 75 Award, I will never forget the smile on his face when his name was called. 2020 well we all know what happened… let’s say we attended in spirit that year! (Third picture) 2021 we barely made the show and had a whopping 5 miles on a brand new engine before we loaded up and headed to the show. 2022 once again the car was running on an all new front suspension and more engine work for all of a day before loading up and heading out, you can see in the pictures of his car incomplete are from one day before we left. I guess we just like running down to the wire.

My son is off to college now but we still book our yearly trip and have no plans on stopping.

If anyone ever asks what PITS is about …. It’s not about awards …. It’s not about being the best. It’s about having fun and making memories you can never replace!

Well didn’t plan on seeing the inside of the Mustang 4.6 build for several years!! Had a valve guide come out of a head, thankfully no bottom end damage and they replaced the head under warranty!

Getting parts cleaned up using the Ultrasonic cleaner and ready to start assembly again!
