I worked on a customers car for about an hour today, buffed out some tiny scratches and brushed on a little touch up paint in the areas that could not be buffed out. The customer picked up his vehicle and was very pleased with the results. He said "how much do I owe ya" i replied, "nothing sir, you have a great day" after a few back and forths of "Naw, what do I owe ya?" and "No its free" he physically puts this in my pocket. My bank account appreciates it, but my heart feels guilty. Whats your opinion?

Customers not always right, but im going to fix it anyway. Easier to swallow my pride and just fix something we didnt do than deal with the repercussions of sticking up for myself. Great time to be a small buisness.

I just spent $600 on a small ammount of red paint. Ive always tried to be the affordable Bodyshop, but losing my ass has to come to an end. Im apologizing in advance if my prices seem expensive in the future, but im not in business to break even or work all week for $200bucks. Thanks for supporting me for the past 20rs.
