Well, Pickens...even our ice machine has decided it has had enough of this brutal July heat.

We are running VERY LOW on bags of ice going into the holiday weekend. We are working on fixing the issue, but in the meantime please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

So, consider this your friendly reminder to make sure your b**r is already cold - or swing in and grab a cold one from the store!

Thanks as always for supporting The Pickens General Store! 🍁

A big celebration deserves a great shirt. 🇺🇸
We are excited to offer some new tees just in time for the 4th of July festivities in Pickens! We can’t wait to see you!

What a beautiful weekend! Stop in and browse our selection of local goods - Helvetia cheese, honey, maple syrup, BBQ sauce, apple butter, books, and Pickens shirts in a few new colors!

And we’ve extended our Sunday summer hours to 10 AM - 6 PM so you have even more time to shop local. 🍁

If you're out this weekend taking in some sunshine and fresh air, please stop by and see us. We've got everything you need and more - from hot food to cold b**r! We’d love to see you! 🍁

🌱 Ramp season is here in Pickens! 🌱

Don’t forget the annual Pickens Ramp Dinner this Saturday from 12 to 6 at the American Legion Hall - plenty of good food and good company as always!

In the meantime, stop in The Pickens General Store and grab some fresh, store-made “ramp”-peroni rolls today (we have regular pepperoni rolls, too!)…they won’t last long!

Nothing says spring like ramps!
