She has been a service advisor since 2009 and joined Team 180 in 2014. We partnered with the All Girl Gang Garage and Sarah “Bogi” Lateiner, in Phoenix, AZ. The ladies installed the XP 10 in the shop. 180 Degrees Automotive, Inc. Bogi
I called 180 Automotive this morning, before they opened, and got a voicemail message saying it was “Kerry’s formerly 180 Automotive”. I came to this FB page and saw the name was still 180 Auto. As I pulled up to the shop, I saw all the signage still says 180 Automotive. The front door says, “Kerry’s Car Care”, but you walk in and there’s nothing different. There’s even that 180 Automotive sign on the wall behind the front counter. Frankly, I was of the mind that something terrible had happened to explain the quick phone message change.

I talked to the mechanic (Kenny) and asked a lot of questions. He said that Bogi sold the business last Friday (3/15) to focus on her automotive television work and that the auto crew was the same and that I could expect the same great service.

While I was waiting on their comfortable couch and enjoying my complimentary coffee, they discovered my Kia Soul had a recall for a safety steering issue. They offered to take my car to the dealer on Camelback (after they were done with it), and have it fixed. They’d then pick it up and bring it back to Kerry’s. They’d keep me informed as the car was moved back and forth. Wow. That’s a lot more than I ever expected.

When I asked about getting a ride downtown, as the recall issue was going to take a lot more of the day then I planned, they said they’d call me (and take care of) a Lyft.

I just left the shop a few minutes ago and have to say that my experience with the new General Manager, Ann Marie Morrison, was excellent. She’s personable and easy to talk with, as was Kenny (as usual) and John, the man at the customer service desk who kept me in the loop and greeted me when I first arrived.

I’m going to happily continue to take my car to Kerry’s Car Care, though I will miss seeing Bogi around at the formerly 180 Degree Automotive—I first met her at Lux Central in about 2003 when I noticed her at a table working intensely on some notes of some sort. Next to her was a colorful illustration of a vintage pin up: a female mechanic with a tattooed arm holding a wrench. I asked about the image and she said, “I’m designing an all-girl automotive shop I’m going to own some day.”

She did just that. And then some!
(Did you ever see this 3-min CBS News segment by Steve Hartman on “Assignment: America” that’s all about Bogi? It’s awesome: https://youtu.be/wzJ7w03nVlY)

Kerry’s Car Care has some big shoes to fill, but my experience today was 5-stars. I want to encourage everyone who’s enjoyed 180 Automotive, either recently or for many years, to expect the same high level of service and exquisite customer care with Kerry’s.
Received this in the mail today. What’s going on 180? In the top left corner the mailer states, “Formerly 180 Automotive » and also had the same address and photo of the interior waiting area. Did you sell to Kerry’s Automotive?
Do y’all take and recycle used oil? I’d rather give back to a local business, especially a woman-owned one!
Bumped into Bogi Lateiner from and 180 Degrees Automotive, Inc. , and builder/designer of the VERY cool 1957 resto-mod for tonight at dinner, and had an awesome conversation with her and Charlene Bower from Ladies Offroad Network (www.LadiesOffroadNetwork.com) . These two are SUCH great leaders in their industries, and I was honored to share dinner and awesome ideas with them both.

Bogi and Charleene spent some time earlier this year, answering questions from other ladies who came all the way to Arizona to learn...such a great format, and such great advice Bogi offers...REALLY wise words...she's the real deal, and someone I'm honored to be friends with.

I hope you guys enjoy the video...and for the ladies in your life who want to get involved a bit more in Offroading, have them sign up at Charlene's website at www.LadiesOffroadNetwork.com so they can get involved with the awesome group!!

Much respect for what these ladies have pulled off so far, and looking forward to what's next for both of them! -K
Great place if you’re looking for someone to trust.
…Hi all this is a quick tip I teach during my women’s car care class at 180 Degrees Automotive, Inc., on actually removing the tire once all the lug nuts are off…this is an easy no-brainer for most guys…but sometimes females, new drivers, or anyone who doesn’t have a ton of upper body strength may struggle to remove the tire from the hub. So this is a quick, easy technique that I personally use that makes it easy and totally saves your back!
