👋 Introducing Legacy Towing & Recovery

If you’ve seen the truck around Show Low, Pinetop-Lakeside, Snowflake, or Taylor over the past couple months — that’s us.

Legacy Towing & Recovery, operated locally in partnership with ANSNES Emergency Roadside, provides 24-hour towing and roadside assistance throughout the White Mountains of Arizona, including Navajo County and the White Mountain Apache Reservation. Backed by 20+ years of experience, we handle light-duty and flatbed towing, lockouts, jump starts, fuel delivery, and recovery along SR-260, US-60, and surrounding highways.

In the coming weeks, we’ll be updating our website just in time for seasonal travelers heading into the area. A strong online presence is key to being found when people need help the most, and that focus helped drive growth in our previous market.

Big news! We’ve officially relocated and are starting a new chapter in Pinetop–Lakeside, Arizona. After a journey that took some time to put together, we’re proud to announce our new venture serving the White Mountains and surrounding areas.

We’ve also partnered with Ansnes Emergency Roadside, a trusted local provider, to bring reliable towing and roadside assistance to the area. We’re excited to be here and look forward to serving our new community. Thank you to everyone who’s supported us along the way!

You know, the folks you see on the side of the road, often in less-than-ideal spots, working hard to keep our streets safe and clear. They're not just inconveniencing us for fun—they're putting their lives on the line every single day.

Did you know that Towing & Recovery professionals face more on-the-job risks than almost any other emergency service? They're hit and killed at an alarming rate, with one incident occurring every six days on average. That's more than any other emergency service combined. It's a sobering reminder of the dangers they face daily, simply because some of us are distracted or inattentive while driving.

So, the next time you see a Towing & Recovery truck on the side of the road, please remember that patience and a little extra caution can make a world of difference. They're working hard to help someone in need, and they deserve our respect and understanding.

Some days in this business… wow.

Had a call from someone who’d been robbed and needed their car towed to the dealer for new keys. I gave a fair quote and offered multiple ways to pay since their cards were canceled — Venmo, Cash App, Zelle — but instead of a thank-you, I got attitude and a hang-up.

Running a small business means dealing with stuff like this more often than people realize. Be kind to those who are trying to help — we’re out here doing our best.

Yesterday I had a flat tire on the side of 380 just south of Collins Road in Cedar Rapids. It took a while for the repair company to arrive, and then we ran into a few hiccups getting the tire back on the rim. I ended up on the shoulder for quite a while.

Huge shout-out to The Rig Doctor and Darrah's Towing & Recovery! Management at Darrah’s was watching the 511 cameras, noticed I’d been there for a bit, and sent a truck out to check on us. They made sure everything was going smoothly and even provided extra advance warning while we finished up and cleared the scene.

That kind of professionalism and courtesy deserves a big attaboy. Thank you for going above and beyond! 👏🚛
