WE WON! The Urban Culture Design Project teamed with Thinking Caps Design to submit a project for the AIA competition titled ‘This Is Phoenix.’ Our competition winning scheme took second place out of 47 entries, 30% of which were from teams outside of Arizona. The competition judges were Wendell Burnett (FAIA), Jerry Van Eyck (ING, FLA, ASLA), Christine MacKay (City of Phoenix), Wellington Reiter (FAIA), and Grady Gammage Jr. (Gammage&Burnham).

UCD designed this parking lot so it could be used for more than parked cars... we were thrilled to see it used for yoga.
