In Greek mythology, Echidna was no ordinary creature.
Half woman. Half Serpent. Ancient, elusive and feared. From her union with Typhon came some of mythology’s most infamous beasts, including Cerberus, the guardian of the underworld.
We think that’s quite a legacy.
The Cerbera was one of the defining creations of the Peter Wheeler era of TVR: uncompromising, beautifully flawed and gloriously unrestrained. Echidna exists to carry that spirit forward. Not to recreate the past, but to awaken it.
This first Echidna is a singular interpretation of the Cerbera, created around one owner’s vision. Beneath its Reflex Purple skin and hand-finished two-tone interior lies a completely restored chassis, re-engineered control systems and a host of modern advances - all developed without losing what made the original so extraordinary.
Over 4,000 man hours invested into this first resto-mod and over 60 new parts have been designed and developed uniquely by Echidna. These include new exterior and interior lighting, engine control systems, and a digital instrument cluster that recreates the character of the original analogue Cerbera dials. Further re-engineered components lurk beneath the skin.
And at its heart, the monster remains: a rebuilt and upgraded 4.2-litre AJP V8.
