This is Otani family, my Japanese maternal grandmother is holding my dad in this pic circa 1930. That year my great great great great Grandfather purchased a 370 year old samurai sword...aka katana. Today that sword is 460 years old and it's in Massachusetts and yes it has taken heads clean.
