Had this 2016 LML Duramax come in that would not start without a bump of starting fluid. After a thorough inspection of the fuel system to make sure that the CP4 high pressure fuel pump didn’t show signs of wear/contamination, I moved on to injector testing. Found all of the injectors were worn just enough to not let it fire while cranking, but run fine once started. Got all 8 fuel injectors replaced and she fires right up now. Another truck ready to get back to work, and I was glad to get it back out there!

Had a 2020 Volkswagen come in with a check engine light that would flash and the engine would stumble on hard accelerations. Took it on a test drive while watching the computer data and found that under hard acceleration, the engine would misfire on multiple cylinders and the computer would cut the fuel to avoid engine damage. Got it back in the shop and found some no name ignition coils and cheap autolite spark plugs installed. I recommended to the customer that we get some better quality coils and plugs, they were a little hesitant because they just had them replaced. So I continued with some further testing to verify no mechanical issues with the engine. With that the customer approved the new coils and plugs and once replaced, the car is now pulling strong on acceleration and the check engine light self cleared. As you can tell from the pictures, these parts had some pretty distinctive differences. Not all parts that will ‘fit’ your vehicle are equal.

The carrier bearing on this 95’ Chevy had a major failure that damaged the driveshaft. Got a new complete driveshaft assembly installed and it should be good to go for years to come.

Got the 4 wheel drive working on this old Dodge. Found a vacuum actuator bypassing internally causing it to stay in 2 wheel drive. Quick, simple, and cheap repair to get this truck back to the farm!

I got to do a little bit of old school work rebuilding this carburetor for an old boat. Quick and simple jobs are few and far between in this industry anymore, so I savor these type of jobs when they come in!

This car actually just came in for a headlight issue. After fixing the headlight I noticed that it was misfiring, so I decided to pull a spark plug and check it out before giving it back to the customer. Found coolant leaking into every cylinder and let the customer know. Definitely not the kind of news you want to hear when you’re just getting a headlight worked on, but much better to find out now rather than on the road miles away from home. One thing about having me work on your vehicle, I am extremely thorough and will let you know of any current or potentially near future issues that I see while I have it.

Had this mini truck come in running rough. Found that it had low fuel pressure but I was unable to find parts for this little beast. After some digging, I found that a fuel pump for a 2001 Toyota Corolla was a direct fit, got it back running strong!

Had this old Pontiac come in with a coolant leak. Got a new radiator hose and thermostat installed and it’s good to go.

Got some maintenance done on this RV. Compression and leak down test, oil change, thermostat and coolant flush, and a transmission service. It’s ready for some more road trips!
