WE ARE HAVING OUR FULL CIRCLE MOMENT
Before Carswell Window Tinting & Films, Inc. had multiple locations… before PPF, vinyl wraps, and everything our company has grown into today… our story began right here in the Golden Isles.
More than 30 years ago, Michele Carswell began installing window film on homes and commercial buildings while living on St. Simons Island. Through quality work, attention to detail, and relationships built throughout the community, she established a clientele that would become the foundation of a family business.
Michele eventually introduced David Carswell to the window film industry, and David took that knowledge into the automotive side of the business.
What started small continued to grow.
The Carswell family eventually relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina, where David and Michele, alongside extended family, built and operated multiple locations serving customers in automotive, residential, and commercial window film.
Years later, Southeast Georgia called them home.
David returned to automotive window tinting while Michele continued serving residential and commercial customers throughout the Golden Isles — relationships and customers that our family continues to serve today.
Then came the next generation.
After learning the trade firsthand from David and Michele, Nathaniel Carswell partnered with his father, and in 2020, Carswell Window Tinting & Films, Inc. opened its first brick-and-mortar location.
The timing couldn’t have been more challenging.
Our doors opened just before COVID changed the world.
But because of the reputation, relationships, and trust our family had spent decades building, our customers stood behind us. We made it through those uncertain months — and came out the other side growing.
Our family grew into a team.
Hunter joined us, followed shortly afterward by Dillon Carswell, and over the years we’ve continued expanding our capabilities beyond traditional window tinting into Paint Protection Film and professional vinyl wraps.
In 2023, we took another major step and opened our second location in Baxley, Georgia, allowing us to serve another community and build relationships with customers and dealerships throughout the area.
And now…
the story is coming full circle.
The Carswell name has deep roots in Brunswick. David’s side of the family comes from Brunswick, and our family’s window film story began in the Golden Isles more than three decades ago.
Even as our automotive locations grew elsewhere, we never truly left this community. We’ve continued traveling here to serve residential and commercial customers throughout the Golden Isles.
But we’ve always wanted to do more.
Now, for the first time, Carswell Window Tinting & Films will have a standalone location in Brunswick, allowing us to bring the full Carswell experience to the Golden Isles:
☀️ Automotive Window Tinting
🛡️ Paint Protection Film
✨ Vinyl Wraps
🏠 Residential Window Film
🏢 Commercial Window Film
This isn’t a new company coming into Brunswick.
It’s a family business coming back to where so much of our story began.
And each location has its own unique beginning.
But they’ve been built on the core principle of the Carswell way.
Three generations of knowledge.
More than 30 years of experience.
Countless relationships.
And a team that’s more excited than ever about what’s ahead.
Waycross. Baxley. And now, Brunswick.
To everyone who has trusted the Carswell family over the last 30+ years — thank you.
And to the Golden Isles…
We’re coming home, and we can’t wait to serve you.
